My name is Angiola Piovani and I'm an elementary teacher in Bari, Italy- It is a town in the Southern region of Apulia just across from Greece and Albania- I work, along with a team of 6 teachers, in the Paediatric Hospital "Papa Giovanni XXIII" in Bari- We work with hospitalized children who need to be followed in their studies- We are a detached unit from a state-run Elementary and Nursery school (from 3 to 11 years old)"Circolo De Amicis" Bari. My colleagues and I would be interested in working on a joint Comenius project within the "New Long Life Learning Program" framework- I've already had previous experience with the Comenius projects but I would so much like to try to work on this new European program-
The project we would like to propose would aim at the study of schools working within hospital facilities- A probable title could be: "Schools with hospital facilities: realties under exam"- The project would include partnerships with other European schools, annual meetings (generally 2 to 3 times a year) for a period of two years- If you are interested in collaborating with us or if you know of any elementary schools or colleagues willing to experience a Comenius project, please contact me at my email address:
