Next International conferences in Collaboration with HOPE 2010 and bid for 2012
The Board wishes to thank once again the Finnish Congress' Committee for the wonderful event in Tampere and is happy to accept the candidature of Germany for the event in 2010 to take place in Munich. Also, the Board informs that the bid to host a conference for 2012 is officially opened. Any candidature should be sent to the Hope's President President before December 31 2009.

TIMSIS project
Following an agreement between Hope and the Ludwigsburg University of Education (Germany) we are now hosting all the documents of the TIMSIS project (Teacher in-service training material concerning pupils with serious and chronic illness in both regular and hospital attached schools).
6th European Congress on Hospital Education in association with HOPE
Facing Reality and Dreams
from the perspective of a sick child and adolescent and from the perspective of home, school and hospital
The 6th European Congress on Hospital Education in association with HOPE will take place in Tampere, Finland, from June 4 to June 7, 2008. The call for papers is open and the submission deadline for all proposals is January 25, 2008. Abstracts can be sent in English, French or German.

Second Venezuelan National Congress
The Second National Congress on Hospital Pedagogy “Education as a priority of life” will take place in Venezuela (Los Teques), from 24th to 26th April, 2008. The teacher training course for hospital teachers will be gived by Olga Lizasoáin Doctor in Educational Science and professor of Hospital Pedagogy at the University of Navarra (Spain).
