The HOPE Board recently met in person for two days in Thessaloniki, Greece.
We were delighted to meet George Kotsikas, director of the Special High School with Special Lyceum Classes at the Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic of General Hospital “Georgios Papanikolaou”. George gave us a tour of the hospital school, where we met the teaching team and students, who shared their work creating mandalas and fractals.
We also saw their exhibition featuring a photography project George has been involved in with schools from Greece, Switzerland and France. We will share an article about the project soon.
After all our hard work, we enjoyed a local speciality, Trigona, filo pastry triangles filled with cream!
