About Speaker

Christine Walser has a diploma as a primary school teacher, a Master in special needs education HfH (Hochschule für Heilpädagogik) Zurich, Switzerland and a diploma in art therapy. After teaching primary school classes and classes for children with special educational needs, she started working at the University Children’s Hospital Kinderspital Zurich as a hospital teacher in 1993. In addition she has lectured at the nursing department since 2003 and at pedagogical universities. During sabbatical vacations she attended the training at the Maria Montessori Training Organisation in London and assisted in a primary school in Sydney. Since 2005 she has voluntarily worked and lectured in a co-operation project of hospitals and schools between Armenia and Switzerland. In 2008 she obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in “Quality of teaching-learning processes” and in 2009 a CAS in “Neuroscience and special needs education”

Christine Walser ist Grundschullehrerin, Kunst- und Maltherapeutin und hat Schulische Heilpädagogik an der Hochschule für Heilpädagogik in Zürich, Schweiz, studiert. Nachdem sie Grundschul- und Sonderklassen unterrichtet hatte, begann sie 1993 in der Universitätskinderklinik Zürich zu arbeiten, wo sie Kinder und Jugendliche unterrichtet. Daneben hält sie seit 2003 Vorlesungen an der höheren Fachschule für Pflege und an (Heil-) Pädagogischen Hochschulen. Während eines Urlaubes hat sie eine Montessori-Ausbildung bei der Maria Montessori Training Organisation in London absolviert und in einer Grundschule in Sydney assistiert. Seit 2005 arbeitet sie ehrenamtlich für das Kooperationsprojekt zwischen Kinderkrankenhäusern und Schulen in Armenien und der Schweiz und hat bei drei Besuchen in Armenien Kurse für Heilpädagogen/innen gegeben. 2008 schloss sie einen CAS-Kurs in \"Qualität von Lehr-Lernprozessen\" und 2009 einen in \"Neurowissenschaften und Heilpädagogik\" ab.
