International Days are cancelled

Dear Colleagues,

We appreciate that with regular news stories and updates about COVID-19 Coronavirus, there were many questions that we and our visitors had about our International Days.

Some of you contacted us only a couple of days ago.

As hospital school we have to strictly follow the protocols set by the various relevant local and national governmental bodies, in a rapidly changing situation.

At 10:30 this morning we were notified by our Head that all events must be cancelled until end of April 2020. This measure has been issued after a risk assessment by relevant bodies.

The health and safety of our patients, visitors and staff is our absolute number one priority.

Our position today is that the “International Days of March 30-31 and April 1st 2020” are cancelled.

We understand that this can be a financial burden due to costs incurred for cancellation of tickets or hotels.

This email can be used as an official cancellation form for your airline or booking agent. If you need more paperwork and red tape: let us know.

We feel very very sorry for this situation and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience you encounter. We hope to see some of you in Tallinn in May for the HOPE congress.

PLEASE DO: confirm the reception of this communication and please do share with your colleagues.

Sincerely,
Pierre Burny
